Curriculum Policy
SDIS is committed to "encouraging the growth of intellectual curiosity, creativity and independent learning whilst also preparing each pupil for the best possible examination results, through a broadly based, coherent and balanced curriculum". In this way the curriculum serves the school's mission statement of "the rigorous pursuit of excellence balanced by compassionate concern for individuals".
Primary School (Nursery to 3rd)
Primary section does not has examinations but has a continuous assessment policy against levels of achievements. Students are assessed on 3 essential elements – Attitude, Skill & Knowledge using various strategies and tools. At the end of each semester reports are given in the form of a detailed skill-based appraisal with a detailed Student Profile.
